2001 Chef Boyardee Commercial: Kane in the Kitchen, Behind the Scenes

Kane: Today we're in the Los Angeles area at the Hollywood National
Studios filming a commercial for Chef Boyardee Big Beefaroni.
Well, I walk into the kitchen and open a can of beefaroni the way that I would
open a can.
Director: We see him in his, of course, 'Kiss the Chef' apron, and obviously the only way he knows how to open anything is by exploding it.
Kane: The method that I use to open a can of Chef Boyardee is the same method I use to blow up my pyro.
Director: The cans explode open, the beefaroni goes flying in the air, they land in his bowl and he's gonna eat - but unfortunately, as you see at the end of the commercial, he can't quite get the big beefaroni into his mouth.
Kane: I think I was asked to star in this commercial because of my even
temperament, my effervescent personality, and just the easy going manner I have
with people.
I had a good experience in the commercial, the Chef Boyardee people are really
great, plus I got a year's supply of Big Beefaroni.
I think the WWF fans are gonna respond very positively to this commercial.
We always see the angry Kane, the tough Kane - we don't see the kindhearted
Kane, the homemaker Kane, the gourmet chef Kane . . .
Director: I'm really looking forward to seeing the final product of this commercial. i think it's gonna be great. We're doing some really cool graphics - I think the humor involved seeing Kane open up a can in his pretty unique way will inspire the viewers at home to open up a can of Big Beefaroni.
