OK, let’s get right down to it ... the Kane unmasking. All the hype leading up to Monday night was whether or not Kane would be unmasked. The only way he would be able to keep the mask would be by beating Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship, and let’s be honest, that just wasn’t going to happen. When it finally came down to it and Kane was unmasked, it seemed to leave many of the fans somewhat shocked and disappointed. So many of the e-mails that I have received were asking me how they could do that, and why.
I remember when Kane first came in. I was training, and we worked out together in the ring in preparation for his debut. He was a larger-than-life character then and he still is. In my eyes, I am looking forward to seeing where this leads. I am sure that it is going to be quite hard for the diehard Kane fans to deal with this, but I hope people give him the chance to entertain them just like he’s always done.
What some people forget is, here is a man who for almost six years pulled off an unbelievable run with this one character. It’s now time for him to continue with his success and win the diehard Kane fans back by doing what he does best, and that is kicking ass in the ring. I wish him the best, and I’m sure looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
