Glen Jacobs is probably the happiest man in the
WWE these days. After years of hiding behind a mask, which in all likelihood obstructed his view - not to mention his breathing - Kane is free. I say, keep KANE in the mix working with the writers, and we'll have some Hot Times in the Ol' Ring EVERY NIGHT!!!!! Heh-Heh! Keeping close to the storyline they created for KANE ~ SIX YEARS ago, the WWE can't go wrong working the character through all the bitterness, self doubt and frustration a tortured soul carries, the BEST way KANE knows how - inflicting as much of the pain he feels on those he perceives to be continuing his torment! Kickin BUTT first and takin numbers for more! ~*

And, man, is he ugly. Not as ugly, however, as he was once rumoured to be. If you think back to some of the early Kane/Undertaker feuds, it was said that Kane was disfigured from burns he suffered in a fire, that The Dead Man apparently ignited. Now he was certainly less than pretty when he pulled that mask off last week on Raw, but he didn't look ridiculously disfigured. That's probably a good thing, because what would be more frustrating? Wearing a mask day in and day out, or sitting through three or more hours of extensive makeup two or three times a day four times a week?
***By the By ~ Kane's segments on RAW have been the highest in the past three weeks! This week, KANE brought in a blazing 5.4 score to close RAW in Montreal!!!! YEAH BAAAAAABEEEEE! VINDICATION!!! We have ALWAYS said KANE drew BIG TIME! Given HALF the air time - he proved us RIGHT! RAW's over all rating showed at 4.2, up from last weeks 3.6 and the best rating in MONTHS!!!! We can but HOPE the "Powers that Be" have taken note!!!!
OH! AND I'm sorry - but they just can't seem to be able to make KANE ugly in MY book! LOL! Not naturally, anyway. They're gonna have to stick with the TechnoFilters, if they don't wanna go the makeup route!
This past week Jerry "The King" Lawler joined the No Holds Barred radio show to go over a number of issues in addition to promoting his upcoming appearance at the Hudson Valley Renegades game next Sunday July 13th. Of course, KANE was one of the topics he touched on:
Kane's character (change) was long overdue and anytime people are talking about something, whether it be good or bad, it's good publicity. He said that he's pretty sure that Kane himself and the writing team both agreed that it was time for a new direction and if it doesn't pan out down the road they can always change things up again.
